ABOUT REEBIE
A little more than 128 years ago, William C. Reebie founded Reebie Storage & Moving with just one helper and a two-wheel cart. A few years later, he built the first moving van in Chicago which he named “The Moving King.”
In 1928, Reebie Storage & Moving became one of five original Charter Agents of Allied Van Lines. Today, Reebie enjoys the distinction of being Allied’s 1st largest single consumer sales agency and ranks among the van line’s top 10 agencies in terms of household goods booking revenue.
In 2001, the company opened what is now its corporate headquarters which has 20,000 square feet of office space and 100,000 square feet of warehouse space. Additionally, the size of the Reebie fleet has increased to include 100 local moving units and 30 interstate tractor-trailers.
Today, the company is headed up by Sal Manso, and is still growing. The company now owns and operates four facilities throughout the Chicagoland area, offering more than 400,000 square feet of storage space.
